How to Play Baseball Dice Game

  1. Setup: Start with a marble on zero outs at the top of the 1st inning. Place 4 marbles in each the Home and Visitor dugouts.
  2. Determine teams: Roll the dice to decide who is the Visitor and who is the Home team.
  3. At bat: The batting team places a marble at home plate and rolls the dice. The result determines the play — a Single moves the marble to first base, a strikeout moves the outs marble up 1, and a sacrifice fly moves both the outs marble and one base marble forward.
  4. Scoring a run: Once a marble makes it all the way around the bases back to home plate, move the dice in the arched column to record a run.
  5. 3 outs: When a team reaches 3 outs, their at-bat is over. Return all marbles to the dugout and advance to the next half inning.
  6. Game length: Repeat until the game is complete. Play a full 9 innings or shorten to 5 or 7 innings.
  7. Winner: The team with the most runs wins. It’s that simple!
